ABOUT ME

After graduating from Norwich University of the Arts where he studied BA hons illustration, Alistair continues his freelance practice working across various editorial, publishing, and advertising projects. He worked with an assortment of clients, including the Natural History Museum in London. This project involved him working with a committee that communicated their brief with formal deadlines, allowing him to develop the project through a combination of my personal creativity and the needs of the company. Alistair comes from a long line of painters and illustrators. Growing up, his grandmother told him stories about his great and great-great-grandfathers' illustration work. Alistair wished to follow in their footsteps and have his illustrations published all over the world. Alistair approaches his work with a playful and considerate approach; exploring lighting, atmosphere, colour, and details.
